Triệu Minh Hải

Trieu Minh Hai, born in 1982 in Hanoi, is an independent artist.

“I demonstrate my own observation and understanding of the dynamic combination between a mathematical as well as natural phenomenon and art with a series of fractal-inspired pencil drawings. Each series consists of 10 works, which are laid out in a continuous, horizontal order adjoining each other. Using the most primary form of artistic expression, I work on

the best advantages of pencil drawing; that is to form delicate layers of shades and patterns, and consequentially to intensify the aesthetic quality of his artworks. As I explain the mechanism of fractal with physical practice, I deliver a liberal criticism, at the same time searching for the relation between theory and natural operation.”
